Norman Foster Backs out of Pushkin Museum Renovation

Famed British architect Norman Foster will no longer be involved in the renovation of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.

The letter of resignation from Foster & Partners cited a lack of museum cooperation. The involvement of the firm behind the Gherkin and the renovation of the Reichstag would have been a huge step for one of Russia’s notoriously outdated major museums.
