Russian Art Brings in $25 Million at Sothebys

Goncharova’s “Still Life, Bluebells” *

Sotheby’s recent Russian auctions in London brought in £16,368,550 ($25,155, 187). The top lot was Natalia Goncharova’s “Still Life, Bluebells” at $4,538,554. Records were broken for Alexander Mikhailovitch Gerasimov, Mikhail Alexandrovitch Vrubel, Alexander Vladimirovitch Makovsky, and Adolf Ignatevich Ladurner.
